Through the silent darkness
I heard my voice echoed multiple times

Around and round; I kept on cycling
in one pace in a nervous condition

My name is Balogun Abdullahi Olamide (Daryn Wise) . I was born in the Balogun family in the Isale-Ola Area of Saki West Local Government, Oyo State, Nigeria. I'm currently a student of English at Bauchi State University, Gadau, Bauchi State. I'm passionate about writing poetry, play, novel that capture the everyday moments of life, and exploring the deeper truths and emotions that lie within those moments. I believe that we can all learn and grow from the experiences and stories of others, and my writing is my way of sharing those stories and experiences with the world. My poems often reflect on themes of love, loss, and self-discovery, and I hope to inspire others through my words. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and experiencing all that life has to offer. I also have a deep love for my home country, Nigeria, and its rich culture and history. Drowning in the dark
Alone like a lost soul
Through the silent darkness
I heard my voice echoed multiple times
Like a nest of mice
Singing in the same rhymes
Sometimes it chills
Like the fish in the fishmonger
Sometimes it hots
Like the Hots in the Death Valley
Sometimes it bends
Like a bend in the bend road
Sometimes it straighten
Like a straight in the straight path
Sometimes it delayed
Like a delay in the traffic
Sometimes it fastened
Like a vehicle on a fast lane
I owned my heart but I can't see
I needed my soul but I can't find
Walking many miles
In a loudly silent weeping
Taking many naps
