Libby Twiggs Poems

Your cotton candy desires melt on my tongue
Leaving a longing, sweet aftertaste
Although guns of doubt whisper I'm too young
And I despise going to waste

Heart Shaped Bullets

Your cotton candy desires melt on my tongue
Leaving a longing, sweet aftertaste
Although guns of doubt whisper I'm too young
And I despise going to waste

All of the enriched minds are crazy
So let's moonbathe under a sky of insanity
I appear a girl but pinky promise I'm a lady
Our love is in scarcity

And suddenly I'm shot, I grow dazed and drunk
As my mind turns into a bloody mess
You held scarlet red tulips to disguise your gun
Compassion to guilt, my brain is a wreck

Heart shaped bullets puncture my flesh
My confession splattered your expectations
However you lower your weapon, bow your head in wrong
Again, everything was all in my head

Heart shaped bullets in my head.
