Tell me
Another story
One with a different ending
And please make me believe it

I'm a gullible
Senseless boy
And I'll take
Whatever you're giving

It doesn't
Need to be
Realistic
Or even interesting
Just make it convincing

Something
That goes somewhere
And with someone else
That Isn't remotely
Anything close to this

None
Of the things
Need to be
The least bit happy
Or sentimental
And they need not
Mean anything

I just need
To finally read
Another
Kind of story

And please
Just see that
You make me
Believe it
